When I look back over the year 2013, I think of all we’ve encountered; the good, the bad, and everything in-between. We’ve lost, we’ve gained, we’ve changed. We have been challenged, we have been saddened, we have been joyous. We have lost, and we have won. We have all been through so much. But, if we’ve been lucky, throughout it all, we’ve given and received kindness.
There’s a Christmas song that always tugs at my heart called “My Grown-Up Christmas Wish” by David Foster and Linda Thompson. You’ve probably heard it, too. Here are some of the lyrics:
